This winter, Conex RVA will transform into a Winter Wonderland, turning Richmond’s favorite new outdoor venue into a festive holiday village filled with lights, music, skating, and community cheer.

From November 22 through January 4, visitors can stroll under glowing string lights, sip hot cocoa, shop from local vendors, and make memories that last a lifetime — all inside one of the most unique event spaces in the city.

What to Expect at Winter Wonderland

The Ice Skating Rink

At the heart of Winter Wonderland is a full-size ice skating rink, perfect for families, couples, and groups of friends looking to glide into the holiday season.
Skate rentals will be available on-site, and VIP skating passes will be included with select sponsor packages.

Christmas Tree Row

Walk through a glowing lane of sponsored Christmas trees, each decorated by local businesses and organizations. These trees represent the community spirit that defines Conex RVA — and they make for some of the best holiday photo ops in Richmond.

The Holiday Market Village

This year’s Winter Wonderland will feature a market of local vendors, each set up in individual covered spaces.
Guests can shop handmade crafts, festive gifts, winter apparel, and seasonal treats while supporting Richmond’s small-business community.

 Vendor dates run:

• Week 1: November 22 & 23

• Week 2: November 26, 28, 29 & 30 (Closed Thanksgiving Day)

• Week 3: December 3 – 7

• Continuing weekly Wednesday–Sunday through January 5

Vendors and food trucks interested in participating can apply directly through our online form — spaces are first come, first served and confirmed with a deposit.

The Food & Drink Experience

Enjoy Richmond’s best local flavors from rotating food trucks, the Conex RVA Smash-Style Burger restaurant, and our four full-service bars serving warm winter cocktails, seasonal craft beer, and holiday favorites like mulled wine and spiked cider.

Live Music & Events

Throughout the season, the Conex RVA stage will come alive with:

• Live acoustic sets and local bands

• DJ nights and themed holiday events

• Special performances for Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve (closing at 10 PM), and more

A Vision Built from the Ground Up

Conex RVA isn’t your typical event space.
It’s Richmond’s first large-scale outdoor venue made for live music, food trucks, community events, and everything in between. Spanning over 65,000 square feet, the space combines modern design with the city’s industrial roots — featuring custom-built bars, an open-air stage, mural-covered shipping containers, and string-lit gathering areas that create a truly unforgettable environment.

The project was founded by a team of Richmond entrepreneurs and visionaries, all sharing the same goal: to create a destination that celebrates local culture and brings energy back into the River City’s social scene.

This winter, the venue will host its first Winter Wonderland, complete with a skating rink, Christmas tree installations, holiday markets, and local food and drink vendors.
