About the Role

The Manager role at Conex RVA is a leadership-driven position focused on executing smooth operations, maintaining high standards, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This role requires a proactive leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and can guide a staff through both daily service and large-scale events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of food, beverage, and event service

  • Lead, train, and support staff across multiple departments

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace

  • Ensure high standards of customer service

  • Help manage scheduling, staffing needs, and shift organization

  • Communicate clearly with ownership and team members

  • Handle guest concerns with professionalism and problem-solving

  • Ensure compliance with safety, alcohol, and food service regulations

  • Support event execution and high-volume nights

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in hospitality or restaurant management

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Ability to manage fast-paced, high-volume operations

  • Comfortable working nights, weekends, and event-heavy schedules

  • High level of professionalism and accountability

  • Ability to multitask and make decisions under pressure

  • Reliable transportation

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in both bar and kitchen operations

  • Familiarity with scheduling, staffing, and basic admin tasks

  • Conflict resolution and guest relations experience

  • Event operations or festival-style venue experience
